1. Scrambled Eggs and Chicken Sausages

This power packed high-protein breakfast meal is just what you need to kick-start your day. It is also really easy and quick to put together. So smack your lips over simple and easy to prepare scrambled eggs tossed in mild spices with chicken sausages.

Ingredients of Scrambled Eggs with Chicken Sausages

1/2 Onion, chopped

1 Potato , chopped

2 Chicken sausages (sliced)

3 tbsp olive oil

6 Eggs

To flavour salt and pepper

2 tbsp cheese, grated

Handful of spring onions, chopped

Butter (to spread)

Burger bunns
1/2 cup millk

How to Make Scrambled Eggs with Chicken Sausages

1.Heat up the pan with olive oil.

2.Put potato into the pan and fry till it turns a golden brown color.

3.Put the chicken sausages in the pan and toss them.

4.Now add onions into the pan along with salt & pepper.

5.Turn off the heat and transfer them into another pan.

6.Beat the eggs to a mixture and add milk, and cheese and whisk.

7.Heat the pan and add both the mixtures, and cook on low heat.

8.Then gently scrape the bottom and add salt, pepper and sprinkle some spring onions.

9.Preheat the oven at 240 degrees for 5 minutes.

10.Spread butter on the buns and grill them for 4 minutes in the oven.

11.Garnish with spring onions

2. Rawa Upma

This favourite breakfast staple from South India is super easy to make and perfect for a wholesome morning meal. Throw in some veggies like peas, carrots and beans to make it more nutritious. 

 

Ingredients of Rawa Upma

250 Gram Semolina

650 ml Water

75 gram Ghee

5 gram Mustard seeds

2 gram Black gram dal

2 gram Bengal gram dal

100 gram Onions

5 gram Green chillies

25 gram Cashew nuts

2 gram Curry leaves salt

Garnishing:

Coriander leaves

Coconut, grated

How to Make Rawa Upma

1.Boil water.

2.Slice onions and cut the chillies lengthwise.

3.Heat a deep pan with ghee. Add mustard, when crackling add the dals and sauté until golden.

4.Add onions, curry leaves, cashew nuts and green chillies. When the onions are translucent add semolina and sauté.

5.Add the boiling water and stir rapidly with the salt. When the moisture is absorbed, the upma is cooked.

6.Mix well and garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves

 

3. Masala Cheese French Toast

One of the easiest and most delicious breakfast recipes, this cheesy French toast can be ready in minutes and does not require too much effort.

Ingredients of Masala Cheese French Toast

3 Tbsp Chilli tomato ketchup

1 tsp Mustard

2 tbsp Mayonnaise

3 slices White or brown bread

4 slices Cheese

4 Egg whites

1 Spring onion

2 Green chillies

Few Coriander leaves

2-3 Basil leaves

1 bunch Chives, small

to taste Salt

To cook Olive oil

How to Make Masala Cheese French Toast

1.Herb paste: In a blender make a paste of spring onions, basil, green chillies, coriander and chives.

2.Sauce paste: In a bowl mix chilli tomato ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise.

3.Egg mixture: In another bowl whisk egg whites with a little salt. Add the herb paste.

4.Take a bread slice. Apply the sauce paste and place 2 cheese slices. Place another sauce smothered bread. Repeat. Chill for 2-3 minutes.

5.Dip the bread-cheese-sauce sandwich in the egg mixture.

6.In a pan add some olive oil and cook the french toast till golden brown on both sides.

7.Cut into fingers and serve.

4. Bombay Toasty

This famous street snack from Mumbai makes for a great breakfast. Layers of tomatoes, onion, mashed potatoes slathered with fresh coriander chutney are neatly placed between toasted bread slices.

Ingredients of Bombay Toasty

4 Brown bread slices

50 gram butter

1 Onion (sliced), peeled

1 Capsicum (de-seeded), sliced

1 Tomato, sliced

1 Cucumber, sliced

1 Potato (sliced), boiled

30 ml mint chutney

to taste salt

to taste chaat masala


How to Make Bombay Toasty

1.Butter the bread slices.

2.Put a layer of mint chutney on the bread.

3.Put potatoes, cucumber, onion, capsicum and tomato slices.

4.Season with salt and chaat masala.

5.Heat the frying pan and a teaspoon of butter.

6.Toast the sandwiches on both sides till crispy brown.

7.Serve crispy sandwiches along with some potato fries.

 

5. Masala chicken on tost

This is a great easy breakfast recipe to use if you have some leftover chicken. Saute some chicken chunks with masalas and juicy tomatoes and serve it on to toasted bread. No work at all yet a flavourful breakfast to fest on.

Ingredients of Masala Chicken on Toast

1/2 Kg Boneless chicken (diced or minced)

50 gram Hung yogurt

1/2 tbsp Kashmiri mirch

1/2 tbsp Garam masala

1/2 tbsp Garlic paste

1/2 tbsp Ginger paste

2 tbsp Lime juice

1 1/2 tbsp Oil

2 Onions (diced)

1/4 tbsp Coriander powder

1/4 tbsp Chilli powder

to taste Salt & pepper

4 Tomatoes (seeded and chopped), peeled

2 tbsp Coriander, chopped

How to Make Masala Chicken on Toast

1.Marinate chicken in hung curd, chilli powder, garam masala, half of the ginger and half of the garlic. Set aside for 1 hour.

2.Heat oil. Saute onions until golden and then add spices and remaining garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute.

3.Add chicken with the marinade. Stir for a minute. Add tomatoes. Simmer uncovered until chicken is coated.

4.Stir in coriander. Serve warm on hot buttered toast.
